It could happen in any home.

It could happen in any home. is a campaign made to bring awareness about domestic abuse in the United Kingdom.

Modern-day domestic abuse is still a prevalent issue. And people trapped in relationships with partners who are abusing them, sexually, financially or physically may not be aware that they are being abused or be aware of the resources that are available to help them.

This campaign is designed to provide links to local charities, resources and shelters to people who need them. These codes also have national resources available for causes that need donations or resources. This is so this campaign can provide assistance to people in abusive relationships and build a community against domestic abuse and to help those in need.

Purple has long been a colour associated with women's emancipation but in the modern day and in a social rights context it is used to discuss and represent domestic abuse. Purple most often shows up in domestic abuse awareness campaigns and ribbon because of its historical association.
