Jonah wakes up surprised he is still alive but he is and in a hospital in Nevv Atlantus. But he is an unintended minor and he needs to be placed in a home until the police can track down his real parents. That will not be a problem for Jonah, so he decides to keep his head down until he can earn enough money to get out of the city and back to his real home.

 

His hopes begin to dwindle as he becomes the latest obsession of another girl at Waterlily House, Kelly. He now sleeps in the room that her best friend lived in until two weeks ago. But Bailey didn't turn 18 and left she went missing and Jonah is about to get swept up in a search to find her.

 

Jonah and Kelly navigate the rapidly changing city of Nevv Altantus, a city that is filled with ghosts, monsters and zombies. Will they be able to find the runaway Bailey? Or will Jonah drown as some secrets are better left unknown.
